ComfortFlex Limited-Slip Martingale Collar - Escape Proof Padded Wide

ComfortFlex® Limited-Slip Martingale Dog Collar – Padded, Escape-Proof Inline Design, Made in USA

Stop leash-pulling and escape attempts without choking your dog or dealing with clunky secondary loops. The ComfortFlex Limited-Slip Martingale Collar provides humane, reliable control through an engineered inline sliding action: it tightens instantly to a safe, fixed stop the moment your dog hits reverse, then releases immediately for a loose, comfortable fit on slack leash. Fully padded along the neck with 360° reflective safety webbing, it is a trusted favorite for daily walks, canine athletes, and water sports like dock diving.

Why You’ll Love It

• The Modern Evolution of the Martingale Collar – Traditional martingales rely on a clumsy, dual-loop cinch system that can dangle, catch on brush, or stick open. ComfortFlex re-engineers the martingale concept into a streamlined inline slide: the collar reduces circumference smoothly to a calibrated stop the moment your dog hits reverse, preventing backing out without choking.
• Instant Friction-Free Reset – Many fabric martingales "hang" or stick open due to loop-on-loop fabric friction, giving confusing cues to your dog. ComfortFlex isolates the high-tensile sliding webbing from the padded neck core, allowing the slide to glide effortlessly. The second leash pressure relaxes, the collar immediately resets to its loose, comfortable position.
• Dock Diving & Water Sport Favorite – Widely trusted by handlers and competitors in dock diving and canine water sports. The collar provides secure, slip-proof control on the staging dock, releases effortlessly with one hand before the jump, and dries rapidly between splashes without retaining pond or chlorinated water odors.
• Low-Profile & Snag-Free (No Dangling Loops) – Replaces awkward, hanging secondary control loops with a low-profile inline channel. The collar lies flush against the coat when relaxed, eliminating the dangling loops that catch on brush, fencing, or outdoor obstacles during supervised activity.
• Continuous Anti-Chafe Neck Cushioning – Lined with a soft, closed-cell foam core wrapped in smooth nylon fabric. Disperses leash tension evenly across the neck to eliminate skin chafing, raw spots, and unsightly fur breakage on short-haired breeds and dogs with sensitive skin.
• Integrated 360° Reflective Stitching – High-visibility reflective elements are woven directly into the structural webbing—not painted or glued on. Shines bright under streetlamps and vehicle headlights for early morning and evening neighborhood safety.
• Seamless Slip-On Design (Zero Buckles to Break) – Engineered as a solid, continuous loop. With no plastic side-release buckles to crack, freeze, or jam with grit, it provides maximum mechanical reliability and rapid one-handed on/off convenience at the dock, trail, or door.
• All-Weather, Machine-Washable Durability – High-tensile nylon resists water, mud, salt, pool chemicals, and snow. Machine wash on gentle, line dry, and it’s fresh for your next outing.
• Custom Proportional Sizing – Available in 4 adjustable sizes covering necks from 7 in to 34 in (18 – 86 cm) across 11 vibrant colors.
• Crafted in the USA – Built with reinforced commercial-grade bartack stitching and heavy-duty, high-performance materials engineered for years of dependable use (Designed, Cut, Assembled and Sewn in the Upstate New York).

How to Measure & Find the Perfect Fit

Because this collar features an unbroken, escape-proof slip-on design, sizing is based directly on measuring high on the neck where escape attempts occur:

1. Measure Just Behind the Ears: Wrap a soft tape measure snugly around your dog's neck directly behind the ears (the narrowest, highest point of the neck, not down at the base).
2. Select Your Size: Choose the size where that neck measurement falls near the middle of the adjustment range. The collar opens wide enough to slide smoothly over the head, yet tightens to a secure, slip-proof stop behind the ears when tension is applied.

• Small: 7 – 14 in (18 – 35 cm)
• Medium: 10 – 20 in (25 – 51 cm)
• Large: 14 – 28 in (35 – 71 cm)
• X-Large: 17 – 34 in (43 – 86 cm)

Fit Tip: If your measurement falls close to an overlapping size boundary, choose the size where your dog's measurement sits closer to the middle of the range for optimal slip-action travel.
